Special Construction Notice

My Dear Friends in Christ,

He has Risen. Hallelujah! I wish a heartfelt welcome to our Cathedral family as well as those who may be visiting from another city or another parish.

Over the last several weeks, we have faced the solemnity of Lent. We have watched the events of Holy Week unfold, beginning with Jesus triumphant entry into Jerusalem to his merciless death, suffered for our sins. Yet, today, we gather to celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The great miracle of Jesus resurrection rekindles our hope and gives us joy. The Easter message is Hope. Easter is the promise of hope for a better day and an even better tomorrow. Like Jesus, we begin a new life starting today. We, too, may be resurrected in a new life in Christ.

May the glory of the Lords miracle strengthen your faith and renew your hope. I wish you and your family a blessed Easter. Praise be to God!
Yours in Christ,

Monsignor Mc
