Dear Parishioners,

Thank you for your generosity towards our annual SVDP Food Drive. This year, the SVDP Food Drive was renamed the John Jezak Food Drive after Jezak, our fellow parishioner, Vincentian and Knight, died suddenly last month. David Roberts, Conference of SVDP President, told us that for many years, John had handled all the details of our three times a year food and clothing drives, so it was decided that the drives would now be named after Jezak in honor of him.

The food drive, held on September 19 and 20, produced 4,160 pounds of food and supplies for the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry on Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. That is more than two tons! We were grateful to have a large group of St. Pius X football players help us load the truck.

“We are blessed to be a part of a very generous parish,” Roberts said. “SVDP can always count on the Cathedral for its support.”

Thank you again for your generosity.

God Bless You,

Msgr. Frank McNamee, Rector
