The Church is regularly called to respond to the ever-changing needs of the Faithful—our parishioners. This is why I am pleased to announce that a new Ministry has been formed at the Cathedral of Christ the King to provide access to an ever-increasing population thirsty for the Word of God.
We are now offering a live online video stream of the Sunday 10:30 am Mass, available for viewing via our website, www.cathedralofchristtheking.org.
With this video stream, we will be better able to minister to the sick or elderly who want to be part of a church community on Sundays but cannot leave their homes. Eventually, we hope to expand our ministry to cover funerals, ordinations, and other special events as well.
All of this has been made possible by the generosity of former friend and parishioner David Thranhardt, who left a generous donation to the Cathedral when he died last year. David spent his whole career in media and communications, so we thought it would be fitting to honor David by using his donation in this way.
We are excited to offer this new ministry of evangelization, and we hope you will be as well. If you are interested in training to operate the camera system, please contact Christ the King’s Webcast Ministry at WebCast@ctking.com.
God Bless You,
Msgr. Frank McNamee, Rector
