My dear friends in Christ,
It is so easy to forget about Advent in the midst of buying presents, traveling and decorating for Christmas. I invite you to take some time this second week of Advent to prepare spiritually for the coming of the Christ Child at our Advent Parish Mission, “Rekindling the Fire – A Season of Spiritual Awakening, A Time of Hopeful Assurance” with Fr. Jack Conley.
The themes for the three nights are:
Monday, December 5 – Vision: from Wounds to Wonder
Tuesday, December 6 – Passion: from Magic to Mystery
Wednesday, December 7 – Hope: from Grumbling to Gratitude
Please come one or all three nights as you are able. Each evening’s conference is from 7 – 8 pm in the Cathedral. I look forward to seeing you there.
