Enrichment Activities
At Christ the King we offer a wide variety of enrichment activities after school for all ages and interests. The link above contains all currently open registrations for our Enrichment offerings. Registration for Spring 2024 is open. The sessions run from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm. Now for drop off, participants that go to Christ the King School will walk over directly to their Enrichment activities once carpool is complete and pick up for all programs will be by the multi-purpose room in the Hyland Center.

Basketball
Sam Robb Memorial Classic
Registration for the Sam Robb Memorial Classic is open.
This Catholic Metro League of Atlanta tournament is for boys and girls in 3rd – 8th grade and takes place January 12-15, 2024. The tournament remembers Sam Robb, a rising athlete at Blessed Trinity High School who lost his battle with osteosarcoma in 2007. This tournament is also a tribute to Sam and his perseverance to be an athlete no matter the obstacles. All proceeds benefit the Sam Robb Fund at CURE Childhood Cancer.
3rd – 8th Grade Basketball
Basketball registration for the 2023-2024 Winter Season (includes grades 3-8) is closed.
Basketball games are played on Saturdays from November through January with practices occurring once a week on a date dependent on team coaches. For grades 5th and above, a tournament will conclude the season in early February. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping coach a team, please sign up with the link above as well so that teams can begin being formed as early as possible.
K – 2nd Grade Basketball
Basketball registration for the January/February Winter Season for K-2nd grades is open.
The K-2nd grade basketball program is a recreational league run by parent volunteers. The program is focused 50% on skills and 50% games. We will focus on the basics of learning the fundamentals of basketball. The goal is for them to gain confidence in dribbling, passing and shooting the ball.
Volleyball
Volleyball registration is open for the Spring 2024 season. This year, registration is available on the league website, linked above, and details regarding the season schedule will be provided there as well.
Practices and Tryouts:
Volleyball practices will occur on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during the Spring season. Practices will be as follows:
■ 5th and 6th practice from 5-6:30 PM
■ 7th and 8th practice from 7-8:30 PM
Soccer
Soccer registration is open for the Spring 2024 season. Registration is available on the league website, linked above, and details regarding the season schedule will be provided there as well.
Practices will occur once a week, Monday-Friday, for age groups of U7 or higher and the specific day and time will be set by each teams volunteer coaches. Practices typically take one hour and occur sometime between 5-7 PM on any given weekday. Games are typically on Saturday.
Cross Country
Cross Country registration is closed for the Fall 2023 season. Registration is available on the league website, linked above, and details regarding the season schedule will be provided there as well.
Practices are on Monday and Wednesday afternoons and run by volunteer coaches. Open to girls and boys 5th through 8th grade.
Summer Camps
At Christ the King we offer a wide variety of summer camps in June and July. These camps run for one week each.
We have offered the following week long camps:
Challenger Soccer, Volleyball, Pickle Ball, Children’s Choir, Chess, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Multi Sport, Urban Innovations with Minecraft, Young Inventors Workshop, and CTK Fun Camp.
