Sandwich Making for Shelters
From November through March, we make sandwiches and deliver those sandwiches to the Basher Homeless Men’s Shelter downtown in support of their efforts in feeding Atlanta’s homeless community. We gather on the first Monday evening of the month to make sandwiches at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.

December 4, January 8, February 5, March 4
During summer months, we are partnering with the Shrine and their Morning Sandwich ministry to make sandwiches. We will make sandwiches in June, July and August.

Snack Bag Making
Each month Christ the King provides more than 200 snack bags to hungry individuals who come to our doors. Here’s a story from one of the people who receives our snack bags everyday: “Thank you for being there for me while I looked for a job. I have been working for a few weeks now and have enough saved so I don’t need to get snack bags anymore.” Everything we do has a tremendous impact on someone. Thank you for your support of this outreach.
Please help us feed the hungry by making snack bags or donating nonperishable, individual pull top cans of a main dish items (such as chili, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, beef stew or ravioli) and juice or milk box drinks for the snack bags. As little as $2 can alleviate hunger. We will be making Snack Bags throughout the year.
