The Eucharist in Scripture is a six week study to discover God’s plan as it is expressed through the Bible and the Mass. This six-lesson study will unlock the meaning of covenant, sacrifice, and sacrament as understood in the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. 2023-2024 Study: The Acts of the Apostles – God’s Life for Us in the Holy Spirit
Join us in September for a Biblical exploration of the early church and the Holy Spirit, as revealed in the Acts of the Apostles. The Acts of the Apostles gives us an energetic history lesson of the early church, filled with inspiring heroes, moving speeches and daring adventures. In this book of the New Testament, we go behind the scenes to see how God orchestrates all things to further his plan for salvation, and brings forth the power of the Good News of Jesus Christ. In Acts we see the Holy Spirit animate Peter, Paul and the disciples of the early church with spiritual gifts to build the Body of Christ to the ends of the earth for all time. As believers we continue this mission today, stirring up the spirit in our own lives to activate the God-given gifts that empower us to mission.
