In a series of fourteen powerful presentations (plus a bonus episode on prayer), renowned teacher Matthew Leonard dives into the rich, mystical tradition of Catholic spirituality in a way you’ve never heard before. It’s a series that has touched the lives of thousands of Catholics from around the world..

The Messiah Experience
Starting September 14
7 pm in Kenny Hall

The Messiah Experience is an immersive weekly Bible study that explores the texts and music of Handel’s Messiah. Hailed as one of the greatest classical works of all time, participants will study the scriptural inspiration at the foundation of this work and hear from guest speakers and musicians. This epic three-part oratorio will be presented in two installments at the Cathedral of Christ the King . Part One will conclude in December with a spectacular performance by the Cathedral Choir and Orchestra under the baton of Dr. Michael Accurso. Registration includes materials for part one of the bible study and a ticket to the performance in December.

2026-2027 Study: “Deliver Us” The Mission of Moses in Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Joshua

Together we will experience the Exodus story of God’s chosen people and witness their transformative journey, from displaced family to powerful nation, from slavery to freedom. We’ll experience God’s revelation to his chosen servant Moses and follow the incredible faith journey of this preeminent prophet and leader as he accepts the mission of a lifetime. We will witness the obedience of an imperfect, but faithful servant, the faithfulness of a God who keeps his covenant promises, and the love of a God who accompanies his people on their physical and spiritual journey.
Join us for community, prayer and study. All ages, backgrounds and levels of experience are welcome.

Shining Light on the Word
